余本 Ben Yu 西元 1905出生 1995亡歿 中國大陸 簡歷 個展 聯展 著作 獲獎 現任 作品欣賞 生平與創作風格 生於1905年廣東台山縣人曾任中國美術家協會理事,藝術顧問及廣東畫院副院長,全國人大代表,全國政協委員,全國文聯委員 1918年,赴加拿大勤工儉學,1931年在加拿大多倫多安大略省立藝術學院學習美術並獲特別優異文憑.其作品曾入選加拿大全國性展覽及世界博覽會展出.1935年至1956年在香港做職業畫家及授徒,每年均舉辦個人展覽, 1956年歸國,專心從事藝術創作,曾為北京人民大會堂廣東廳及黑龍江廳繪畫大型油畫作品.作品數十幅被中國美術館,廣東美術學院,香港文化中心藝術館.香港博物館等收藏,以出版余本畫冊四本.作品先後在北京,南京,上海,廣州 ,香港,台灣及菲律彬等地展出.1980年任中國美術家代表團團長訪問菲律賓. 1995年7月,在廣州舉辦余本油畫展,作品五百多幅,深受好評,1996年在香港藝術中心舉辦"香港文化系列之余本油畫展". 1995年1月在廣州病逝. Yu Ben was born in Guangdong Province in 1905.He was the council member and art adviser of Chinese Artists Association,VICE president of the Guangdong Painting House, representative of the National people's Congress,member of the National People's Political Consultant Committee and member of the National Literature and Art Union. He went to Cabada on a work-study program in 1918. He studied art at the Canadian Ontario Provivcial Art Academy and was awarded a special diploma due to his excellent academic records in 1931. His work were selected to exhibit at Canadian national exhibitions as well as on the World Fair .He was professional painter in Hong Kong from 1935to 1956, teaching students and holding personal art exhibitions annually. He returned to China in 1956, devoted himself to art creation. He made paintings for the Guangdong Set and Heilongjiang Set of the Great People's Hall.Several tens of his work were collected by China National Art Gallery, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Hong Kong Cultural Center Art Gallert and Hong Kong Museum. Four albums by him had been published.His works were exhibited in Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Guangzhou,Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Philippines. He visited the Philippines as the head of the Chinese Artists' Delegation in 1980. Yu Ben's Oil Painting Exhibition was held in July 1955,exhibiting more than 500 paintings,which received favorable compliments.In 1996 Yu Ben's Oil Painting Exhibition of the Hong Kong Cultural Series was held at Hong Kong Art Center. He died of illness in January 1995 in Guangzhou
